Teksty: Mother Hips. Been Lost Once.

I saw two miners walking down the road, they had a negress in between them.
The dust and mire in the air made it mighty hard to see them.
Leading the train by the horses mane, a fourteen stallion team,
then the earth did rise towards the skies to drink the rain of the season

I didn't have it in me but I was paid to lead.
I rode into a canyon and there what did I see?
A ghostly apparition was a' swinging from a tree.
The men bowed down toward the ground saying
"Glory to God be."

I've been lost once, I've been lost twice and
I'll probably be lost again.

Snow covered distant mountain looked like a purple bride.
Vultures circling in the air above something that died.
It was a tired little feller, lying on his side.
I asked him his opinion and this was his reply
He said "I've been lost once, I've been lost twice and I'll probably be lost again."

Oh brother, don't you heed the words of the Lord.
There ain't no better hell than this box of pine boards.
Oh children, don't say your prayers right,
There's nothing you can say to make your daddy's wrong right.
