This is a good introduction to Daquin\'s Noels. Keeping up the speed with precision on the ornaments is not easy, but it is a nice piece of the French baroque. If you like this, it is worth trying his Noel Suisse. You can pair that with Cesar Franck\'s setting of the same theme in L\'Organiste (which is also accessible) as a contrast of styles.
