It is my great pleasure to publish this masterpiece by
Gabriel Faure for saxophone quartet. It is reminiscent
of the great French saxophone quartets of old. Play it
lightly and not too slowly. It should feel "bouncy" in
two. Observe dynamics very carefully and you will have
a most delightful piece of music for your saxophone
quartet. Let the ending die away like a wisp of smoke.
