Written by the Australian composer A. Emmett Adams and lyrics by Douglas Furber, after they heard the bells ringing while visiting St. Mary's Church, Southampton, England in 1941. I am dedicating this arrangement to Honora "Nano" Nagle, (1718- 26 April 1784) who founded the "Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary" in Ireland (also known as the "Presentation Sisters") and pioneer of Catholic education in Ireland.
