Hi,
The National Library of Australia has a copy of Silent confessions
http://catalogue.nla.gov.au/Record/1197700/Holdings? but I think they want money for the privilege!
Hope this assists

Hi.

My mm is looking for another piece that she says is part of the Silent Persuasion, Silent Confession pieces. She is convinced it is called Silent Thoughts. I cannot find this piece mentioned anywhere. Do you know if there was a piece like this. My mom is quite elderly and sometimes she gets one of the words wrong and that has made my search for this piece very difficult. I have found both Persuasion and Confession online so if you still need that sheet music please let me know.

Hi,
Lincoln wrote Silent Thoughts in 1922 - I've sending the link for the most complete list of his works that I know of. Last time I checked there was only a piano-roll of the piece left!

Lincoln, Harry J.
Harry James Lincoln (b 13 April 1878 Shamokin, Pennsylvania; d. 19 Apr 1937 Philadelphia) was a music composer from Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

Aside from running his own publication company, he wrote many marches and rags, such as the Bees Wax Rag (1911), the Lincoln Highway two step march (1921), and quite possibly the Repasz Band March (1929). This last composition, created for the local Repasz Band (now the oldest brass band still in existence), has also been credited to its trombonist Charles C. Sweeley; however, evidence indicates that Sweeley had bought rights to the march from Lincoln.

Lincoln used pseudonyms Abe Losch ("Losch" was the maiden name of his mother), Carl Loveland, and Harry Jay.
