She put it aside and forgot about it for a few years until she was searching for some lost sheet music and ran into the forgotten poem. A few lines of music materialized in her head at that point and wouldn’t go away so she finished the song as a kind of exorcism.CreatorWords & Music by Georgia Lockwood A figure tall and bright,glides through kaleidoscopic night,wrapped in a cloak of stars.An excess of light drips from its fingertipsunnoticed in its distractionas it glides toward a distant old creation,forgotten for a while.Drops of light sailing in its wake gather in to mind and heartand hunger born of abandonment.We believe the ephemeral colossus calls us through infinity,and we ponder our paradox of evilswhile Glory passes by and flings its starry shawlout to the waiting void.
