SKU: GI.WM106
Composed by Antonio Lucio Vivaldi. Edited by Mason Martens. Walton Choral. Classical. Vocal score. 32 pages. Walton Music #WM106. Published by Walton Music (GI.WM106).UPC: 073999285420. Latin. Text Source: Traditional Latin.
This is a four-movement masterwork written by Antonio Vivaldi around 1735 for SATB double choir. An ordained priest, Vivaldi was known for calling on God ("Domine, Domine...") in all aspects of his life. This is reflected in the opening movement with the repetition of the word throughout. This is a brilliant, fanfare-like work that deserves to be programmed. Full scores and instrumental parts for a number of extended works in the Walton catalog are available for rental through Boosey & Hawkes at boosey.com.
