Return Again for bassoon duo is a programmatic work in four movements that traces an individual's journey towards spiritual coherence. In movement one,"Meditation. Attempted. ", the traveler seeks enlightenment, but fails. The traveler laments his or her missed opportunity in "ASong" with long, flowing lines in minor modes.
